Publicly Available Application Programming Interfaces
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) require that most CMS-regulated payers, such as Medicare Advantage Organizations and Medicaid Managed Care Organizations, implement and maintain standards-based Application Programming Interfaces or APIs. Publicly available APIs include provider directory APIs and pharmacy directory APIs. You do not need to register or login to access these public use APIs.
